Individual Therapy Rates

$180.00-$250.00 for Individual Sessions (regardless of age) Sessions are 45- 50 minutes

$500 + for Intake (First visit)

Assessment Rates

Assessment rates vary depending on the nature and depth required. Full assessments begin at $1,800.00. One half the estimated fee is required upon the first testing session. The rate for a single IQ test is $350.00 to $500.00.

Other Services

Most other services are provided at the rate of 180.00 per 50 minutes.

With regret, Dr. Montagnolo is not a provider with any insurance company. While I generally do not offer a sliding scale, payment plans are an option.

Monthly statements are generated which can be submitted to your healthcare provider as they contain all the required information. Check with your provider for out-of-network benefits for mental health services

Most health insurance companies offer some level of coverage for mental health services. You can usually find a number for Behavioral Health services on the back of your insurance card. They can direct you to providers who are in-network with that carrier. Policies vary and some are limited in length of treatment and in amount of reimbursement. .

To better understand why mental health services are so poorly covered by insurance companies, you may be interested in reading about the Mental Health Parity and Addiction Equity Act, which is supposed to help, but I have yet to see the difference. These two links are a good place to start.
